Profile: Rocky Dezelle

Personal background
I tried very hard to get into the Air Force Academy! I was going to be the 30th guy on the moon, or there abouts. By 1970, when I graduated from High School, they had pretty much wound down the space program, but how did I know that? Luckily, my massive weight, and colorblindness kept me out.

So, I turned to electronics, instead of making money, like I should have. Many missed opportunities later, I met my wife on the internet, got married, and now I'm chasing telephones for a living. I like it.

Still wish I could indulge in a little space opera, though.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Life exists on many many planets, out there. Patience will show us that they look like us, walk among us, now and will let us out there once we have conquered our zenophobia, at least a bit.

They already know we're here. Don't let that keep you from the attempt, just trying will create more experience. Send stuff about how we intend to conquer our terror of the unknown. Once out there, we will find plenty of stuff to be terrified of...;-)

I like having a nice little slice of sky working on my PC.
