Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.) I feel that extraterrestrial Life does exists, I feel it will be discovered by us going into and staying in space... dangers are straight forward either extinction or slavery... Major benefits would be technology and self awareness… and many others
... benefits out number dangers,it just depends on who we meet and how we act when we encounter them... our track record on earth , however, on how we treat each other, will keep them away aside from the occasional look and laugh

2.) I don’t feel it’s needed to send another voyager or pioneer out there … Any advanced life out there that is listening or looking for other life knows we are here... we send out so much radio and TV traffic we must be like the red headed step child that never turns down their stereo.

3.) I run SETI@Home as a point of inspiration for myself and my children... It keeps me in focus on the topics in life that are important to me and not the day to day visual and verbal odds and ends we deal with… plus when you spend money on a computer it should do some work while I sleep too...
