Personal background
I'm a 26 years old Ph.D. student at the University of Innsbruck (Austria).
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I'm shure that there is extraterrestrial intelligence (is there terrestrial intelligence?)but I'm also convinced that there will be no contact to this intelligence, because:
1: If there is or was life somewhere in the Universe the chance is very small that its at the same time!
2: If life exists at two places at the same time the distance has to be small enough to get contact. This is not the case at our time, so the chance will decrease because of the expanding universe.

Yust two arguments from a stupid student, so there will be more arguments if you ask specialists!
