Personal background
I'm from the generation that saw a man walk on the moon, all be it that at the time I was in nappies. My reading being science fiction (mostly) had us by now mining the asteroids, with bases on the moon, in orbit and on other planets.

How dissapointing is the world, when all it does is squablle amongst itself while the majisty of the universe is there for us all to enjoy.

I do not believe that we are alone in this universe, it is just farcisal to believe that, one day we will make contact, the only way that is going to happen at the moment, short of a UFO landing, is for SETI to find something, I only hope that when/if it does that it will bring humanity together.

I look forward to future exploration together, I've been Seti-ing since it started, and now I'm hapilly Boinc-ing sharing my computers time with the many other reasonable requests for it's time and power, however seti is the crown jewels, amonst a movable feast.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti because I believe we are not alone

I support the project, in the current time when man is more interested in squablling amongst itself, it takes the everyday person to drive forward exploration and understanding, the ability for the non-techi populance to make an effort and help further the cause is a joy and one I wish many more people would undertake

I look forward to seti being more expansive, searching further, wider and deeper

I look forward for our real LGM moment
