| My name is Yuriy Lapitskiy. I'm from Russia. Born - 25 March 1983. Graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute in Feb. 2006 with a bachelor's degree in computer science ("computing machines, complexes, systems and networks", 5 1/2 years of studying). Working as the math engineer in Tikhomirov Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design ("NIIP") in Zhukovskiy city of Moscow region since 2002. Hobbies - Photography, Web-design, Stamps. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Since Giordano Bruno up to the present time of SETI there was little or so attention to the problem of the extraterrestrials. My goal is to help it growing.
2. More PR needed including other countries. I'm tired to explain other people about that screensaver on my desktop, though I understand that it's us, the contributors to the project, who promote it.
3. Probably, one should improve the scientific side of the project further, 'cause the technical (including design) with the creation of BOINC is almost great. |
