1a. Q: Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
1a. A: The odds are that it does exist.
1b. Q: If so, when and how will humans discover it?
1b. A: We could stumble upon a signal and/or we could be contacted when we figure out FTL or interdimensional travel.
1c. Q: What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
1c. A: Benefits - new age of discovery, expanded knowledge, benefit of greater wisdom. Dangers - anniliation, knowledge recieved without wisdom, slavery.
2a. Q: Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
2a. A: Yes
2b. Q: If so, what information should we send?
2b. A: A HELLO and a query for knowledge.
3a. Q: Why do you run SETI@home?
3a. A: The quest for answers is too tempting to resist.
3b. Q: What are your views about the project?
3b. A. Empowerment is a gift to build upon.
