Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because it's a extremelly difficult work: speaking the truth, I believe that I will die before the human race gets a contact with a alien civilization or obtains the final proof of the existence of something like another way of mankind in another planet. Or any real proof... I'm afraid that, except Earth, our galaxy is not habited by intelligent beings. But, if it's a mistake? Discoverring another civilazation would be the highest moment of the history and I want to participate of this exciting and remarkable experience. Therefore, SETI@home is my way to bodly go where no one has gone before with my dear captains: Kirk, Spock, Picard, Data... About SETI@home? Very simple: it is a project characterized by a noble and courageous spirit, and supporting this brave cause is very good for me.
