Personal background
I am working for Yahoo.com in the U.S. now as a data mining engineer. I am originally from Taiwan, which is a very loving and nice place. If you have not been there, you should.

I am very interested in any kind of scientific stuff. There is a very famous scientific novel writer named Ni-Kwan in Taiwan. Believe or not, I've read more than one hundred of his novels, all of which involved ETs. Some of the main characters are themselves from the extraterrestrial. The stories are so impressive that they will accompany me forever I think :D

A little more about myself: as I am located at the heart of the Silicon Valley, it's a norm to work for 10 hours a day. I am no exception and sometimes even beyond the standard. Except working, I like to travel, do outdoor activities or do gardening.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I didn't learn about SETI until almost three years i graduated from UC-Berkeley! I immediately became active to participate, because of my true believe in extraterrestrial life as well as the desire to contribute to my own school's exciting project.
