Personal background
I have my own business here in Victoria Australia - Green Light Computing. I have been interested in space since I first occupied a portion of it. I am a 26 year old australian, who firmly believes that should I not make it to the heights, then my Son will be of the generation that reaches the ends of the universe. I have been working with computers for years now, and to see the advancement in them, and having my 4 year old son keeping up is phenomenal.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Based on what I have previously said, I believe it is important to know if there is life out there, I am a strong believer in CHAOS mechanics, and as such it lies with out doubt in my mind that we are not alone. Take for instance a Snow flake, by the rights of CHAOS mechanics in nature there are no two alike. However in a laboratory they can be duplicated. The Universe in many senses revolves around CHAOS theory. But you only need look at its perpetual Beauty and precision to know that indeed it is Methodically set out, which lends itself to a "laboratory like equivelence", hence reproduction of CHAOTIC substance is possible, ergo. Another Earth.

Let's just hope the Humans on that earth can treat each other better than we do.

We all prey for those who are victims...we prey for those who are not.
