| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I am absolutely sure that there is life, intelligent life, outside the Earth. I guess that we humans will not discover anything BUT what ET's want us to know. Benefits? Well, maybe that will be the end of human exploitation, the end of wild capitalism, and the end of USA as the aggressive and torturer Empire we all know.
Transmitting a beacon is ok, the problem is exactly the 'what'. Better transmit just a few hints, or we risk to frighten everybody out.
I run SETI@home because I believe in the project and want to help finding ET's. I don't believe too much in the evolution and continuity of the human race. We desperately need help. |
