Stressed, depressed, and generally a mess, but an altogether decent human being. I'm 27, a wife and the stay-at-home mother of two boys. I love to read, mainly sci-fi and fantasy, and do it every chance I get. I have many hobbies. I'm into just about anything artsy and creative. I'm an eclectic Pagan and really into the study and exploration of spirituality.
I've believed all my life that there was life on other planets.
I'm running this on my oldish home pc and it takes about 20 hours to get 50% done on one report. Slow as molasses, but I'm still determined to do this.

I definitely believe that extraterestrial life exists! I think it's riddiculous to think that we are the only intelligent life in such a vast universe. I think that, at our level of technology/evolution, we will only have contact with an e.t.l.f when they choose to make themselves known. Both the possible benefits and dangers are too numerous to even get into here. Too many unknown variables to consider. They could be our salvation or our end.
I think SETI@home is a wonderful idea. I love the though of helping to search for signs of intelligent life. There ain't much on this planet, so it's got to be somewhere, right? ;)
