SETI@home is really exquisite project, 'cos it has attracted so many people all around the world.
I've started Signal crunching with SETI@home Classic many years ago. Having just 56kb modem and Pentium100, you can image, that each computed WU in these days was really SOMETHING for me. I still remember that time. I've been sitting and watching the screensaver, rainbow colors and Fast Fourier Transform, thinking about marvelous ETs...
