Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course extraterrestrial life exists, as they said in the movie "Contact"
- If we are alone, the universe is a waste of space.

Im not so sure that we will find real time comunications for a long time, our recivers isnt that good yet, but i do belive that we could find radio transmission or simple signals in near future, maybe not tomorrow but with in the next decade.

If the signal was found 20 years ago allot of people might have paniced.
Today it might bring the world pupolaions closer and make nations join together in space reseach and travel.
It might not end all wars or terroractions but it might but it might make us think of humans as one race and not white, black, yellow or red.

I dont belive it is nessesary to trasnit a beacon, if any one out there is listening they find us soon enough. Why would they be listening at ouwr low frekvencies and if they do they have a hard time understandin us.

I am a great beliver in Seti@Home, we will find a signal.
I am stunned by the scills and knowledge of the team behind Seti@Home and i do hope you find the means to keep it running for years to come.
