Profile: Larry

Personal background
I am fifty years old, and live in Oklahoma right now, although I hope to be moving to New Mexico soon, if things go alright.Of course that can't happen when a doctor tells you that you have cancer. So here I sit more than four years later
I was a general aviation pilot for many years before having to give up that career do to a health consideration
In all of my years of flying, especially at night I did not ever see anything unusual, but always wished that I did.
Having been raised in the various, and closed minded religous parts of the United States. I found it became of importance, if not just interesting to prove that there are other forms of life in the universe as we know it.
Not to prove the religions wrong, but to show that "we" are not the center of the universe as many of these so-called religions try to have it's followers, and everyone else believe.
Just as a point of mention. Since I found out that I am epileptic, which is why I had to give up flying airplanes I spent many hours studying the universe of the human brain just to understand my own condition, and just like the universe we all exist in as a whole, I don't think that we will ever find the the true end, or reason for their existance.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I will say something that may be more serious at another time, but right now I wanted to say something about what I have noticed.
We all hear about how the Earths radio signals have been sent into space for many years. I was wondering as I searched through the profiles for my own, how many people use pictures of Homer Simpson for themselves.
what I'm getting at,Will or are we viewed by other lifeforms as being identical to each other?
In the same way they must think that we see them in all of our own images of them. Surely they don't all have over-sized eyes, and are earless, hairless beings?
Just as us humans on Earth know that not to many of us look like Marge, or Homer Simpson. Like I said not many of us do anyway, but a few do.
