| I am a sophomore at Western Kentucky University, a junior when I start second semester. I started using SETI in October of 1999 when my best friend Nathan got me in on the competition. Yes, I have been known to put SETI on school computers and run it for me and yes, I have been known to "cheat" with other computers as well, but it's all for the cause...to find life out there somewhere. We had mainly used SETI as a competitive "sport" amongst our friends, but now, most of us are just in it for the cause. IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ALIENS, MAN!!!! |

| I think that SETI has grown tremendously since I joined. The only problem I had was when they upgraded to a new version that scanned more but also took longer to run on the computer. All in all, I believe that this project is worthwhile. |
