| I was born in 1973 and live in the United States. I joined SETI@home when I first heard about it in 1999. I just signed up for the new BOINC platform and am eager to help contribute further to the work. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| The idea of making contact with extra-terrestrial intelligence is absolutely fascinating to me. I feel that the more ways we can open ourselves up for such a possible contact, the better. Even if our first contact is through some means other than the seti@home project, we should all feel that our work helped make it possible. Regardless of the project that finally succeeds, it is the willingness to do one's part, and the desire to further the advancement of humanity that will truly be to thank. |
