I am native german in the so called "mid-age" who is happily married to a wonderful wife and having three gorgeous kids.
Software and Biz Consultant is my profession since 86.
Interested in all kinds of science, reading, music and of course movies.
Travelling is a passion that nobody can deny, neither do I, especially because i'm very interested in cultures.
To know what other people around this world like, it is mandatory to understand them. This statement include of course not only their languages.
Generally spoken i always try to be open minded and to accept as much as i can.
Life is easy if we do NOT forget to respect OTHERS and as long as we can respect ourself. |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Because of billions and billions of stars in space, i can not believe that we are the only ones in universe, so i truely believe that E.T. exists.
The SETI program is a very good idea, even if we will not get any response, at least we tried our very best.
Hopefully we will solve our major problems before other species from outer space and contact us. What should they think about us if we still try to ruin the world we live on?
The advantage of meeting extra terrestrial life is countless so is the disadvantage. Might be that they are not coming in peace and because of being technically ahead us they might conquer. But what if they love peace and like to exchange their knowledge?
My final remark is "You never know until you tried" so let us wait for them! |
