Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Yes. Non-existense would be almost a statistical impossibility. Given the current state of technology - it is much more likely that ET will find us - rather than the other way around (maybe they already have, and are watching us develop as a species). I'll be surprised if we discover ET - especially intelligent ET. We may find some primitive lifeforms (single celled organisms) inside our own solar system, though... Can't speculate on the possible benefits or dangers...

2. Yes. Transmit the following three series atleast:
