Personal background
Hi, SETI people!!!

My name is PJ.
As a good Centaurian, adventurer and visionary, under jupiter's regency, I believe there are many other living forms beyond our imagination in the universe. I can't believe we are alone in this planet, or the one in and out of Earth.

When I heard about the SETI project, it makes me remember about a beautiful movie with Jodie Foster, "Contact" I mean. A great movie and I'm sure that you heard about it too. There is something related with Arecibo in that movie and Judie Foster is a Astronomic Scientist. She is looking for extra-terrestrial sounds like you do in SETI. It's a wonderful movie. So, I needed to be a part of it.

Since I was a child, I always wanted to be a Scientist, Astronaut or something related with Science. The sky is a limit to us and it is fascinating to me. Unffortunatelly I'm not a Scientist, but I work with computers today, so, I thing I can help other scientists with my little help
and think I'm a (just a little bit) Scientist too ;-).
Anyway, I'm trying to do my little part and perhaps feeling like Judie Foster (Luv You lady Jodie!!!) in that movie.
I Would like to be a scientist like you, but I love my work too, So I decided to help you whenever I can.

Good job guys!!!

Kisses and Hugs from Brazil.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
(-1-) I believe we are not the only one life form in this Universe. It's a huge universe and I think that it's impossible that just have one planet with life forms. If we find extra-terrestrial life form, very good! But the real question is: "Are humans good enough to respect Alien life forms"? Will we have higher technology to make it possible? Will we let them live in peace and preserve their places? I thing the human race is not prepared enough. We cannot respect our planet, so, how can we respect the other races.
We are dangerous in fact... Sometimes it's disgusting to be human when you see people killing other people, humans destroyng this beauty planet, hungry people, stupid wars, people that not respect the differences. Sometimes I'm shame to be human.
(-2-) I think our languages are to complex to send messages.
Maybe we can send, sounds, images, colors and lights. There are a lot of pretty things in Earth to show.
(-3-) I want to be a little part of this great project, like a tiny particle in space, but doing it in my way, doing what I have to do and what I want to do, like a little scientist.
