| Hello! I live in Lancaster, PA, I'm 38 years young, and I'm a perpetual student. My husband and I are guardians to five cats, one house bunny, two rats, and a hedgehog. We don't have human children because our pets are allergic. :-)
My hobbies include motorcycle riding (cruising), belly dancing, reading, Macintosh computeres, and yoga.

| I do believe that ETs exist -- I think it's silly NOT to believe in them. There's far, far too much space out there to think we're the only ones!
I love the idea of sending out a message for the beings out there, but I don't know what we could possibly send that they could understand (assuming they don't speak human languages). I think music might be appropriate, and possibly video or CD imagery.
My reasons for running SETI@home is because I believe in the effort to learn about other possible lifeforms and how they live and survive. I'm sure that our species could learn a lot of useful information from this research.
