| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do not know wherever extraterrestrial life exist or not, however, I believe that if it does, we are not yet ready to meet. Humanity has not solved its own problems.
There is one thing I would like to see in the SETI@home program: an *official* WU chaining/caching utility/addon/built-in feature. Yes, there are third party add-ons listed on the website (and some of them even work!), but I did not find them easy to use. All we need (well, at least I do) is just a small option: how many workunits to download at once. |
