Personal background |
20 year old male from Norway, currently living a few miles outside of Drammen, and constantly trying to get his life and act together.
Have been running SETI@Home for quite some time, joined quite early, but took about two years off, doing United Devices units, but I've decided to take on SETI again.
SETI@home is currently running on these pc's:
Phoenecia - a AMD XP3000 with 1024MB RAM and Windows XP Pro w/SP1.
Perplexity - a AMD T-Bird 1.33GHz with 916MB RAM and Windows 2003 Server.
Pandora - a Intel P4 2.4GHz with 512MB RAM and Windows 2003 Server.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
There probably is alien life out there, but as SETI@home simply is an hostile act of DDOS'ing alien networks I highly doubt that they'll be nice to us when we one day make contact.
As most of the users of SETI@home I loathe the fear of having a CPU standing unused, just wasting CPU cycles. |
