I am a Computer Engineer. I love what I do. I've grown from being a programmer to understanding the processes that involve computer systems, to helping many large corporations achieve their business goals aided by these systems. I've also learned several skills necessary to succeed in this competitive field, like process innovation, engagement management, customer relationship management, business intelligence, and most of all, leadership by example.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I discovered SETI@Home thanks to my brother in law. He had it in his computer almost since the beginning of the project. I was thrilled and installed it right away, hoping, of course, to be The One to find significant information on ET. There is life out there, maybe not as we imagine it, but there it is, waiting for us to find it. This are very interesting times: in a few years (few compared to human history) we'll discover we are not alone, and later on we'll make first contact, all thanks to the technology we have so far, and future discoveries which will be, without doubt, awesome. |
