Profile: Jez H.

Personal background
I've been crunching data for SETI since Jan 2006. My former profile was simply "Jez" and used a Intel Dual Core which I later upgraded to a Quad Core plus various AMD/Radeon GPU's.

I'm now using an old Intel Hex Core and more modern & efficient NVIDIA Pascal based graphics card.

I've been building rigs since 2006. Mainly for gaming but like to use my spare processing power to help science.

I'm UK based in my late 40's. I studied Sociology and Psychology at University. Various hobbies include keeping tropical aquatic plants and fish, enjoying music both live and on my Hi-Fi, still learning guitar, working on a allotment, playing Darts, Badminton, Mountain Walking and Bicycling. I like to read about history; mainly 20th century. I've recently read about the Nicaraguan Revolution and aftermath, the campaign on the eastern front during WW2 & the campaign in the Pacific and Asia WW2. My reading list includes the early Human Evolution, Spanish Civil war, Irish History, and Modern Naval capabilities and tactics. For lighter reading I prefer fantasy and science fiction.
