i live in a small town called Rimouski,Quebec,Canada. i work for a telecommunication company since 31 years now and i'm 51.when i was young i was so attracted by those gigantic radiotelescope antennas that i ordered a book
from a France library called Radioastronomie (wich i still have by the way).
naturally time and life dosen't go always the way you want so i forgot my book and all that science wich amaze me .now maybe i couldn't get back at school
studying that particular science but i got the feeling i'm close of it by helping such a fantastic team who works so hard to decode the Signal
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
for sure Elife exist the way we'll find it should be astonishing at my point of view and i'm also convinced that all governments know that.
the problem is how to explain all those new approachs and how to redefine all
the work of those who spent their lifes trying to hide it.
a beacon is transmitted everytime we use airwaves such as cb radios and so on
that's what is getting me to the following questions.in the 70's i was doing a lot of CB radio(27Mhz frequency range) all those conversations should be travelling again in space if i'm correct?woud it be okay to suppose we would have chances to receive something from those frequencies area?
i would like something on setiathome workunits a little sound from what we are
decoding and a little beep or whatever the sound if we found something that maybe interesting for your team
