Hay peeps,
Sorry to say it, but i'm just another freak tired of watching ET, and Unsolved mysterys. I wanna see the real thing in my lifetime...and damn it, that's why I'm here. Good luck all...but I hope it my slow box that finds em. heehee

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. Yes, I believe they exist. The it's mathmaticly imposable that we are the only inteligent life in the universe. As for when and how...that is still to be answered....I'll tell you when it happens. As for the repercussions....who knows. They may be friendly, they may not be. But I tell you...them jesus freaks are gonna be way pissed off.
2. Yes, if we are listening for signals from other lifeforms, then we should too should throw out a becon for them to hear. As for information, I think that (not sure if possable) a model for a DNA strand should be sent. Something, universal, that all advanced lifeforms should beable to comprehend.
3. I think the SETI project is exactly what we need to get people together for a good cause. It's an amazing project, which I am attempting to get others to praticipate in. I run it, to help out...for I believe they are out there, and, as I said, I would love some sort of proof in my lifetime. As for suggestions, I can't say I have any yet. I'm still learning the system of operation...it's all new too me...but give me time...I'll come up with something off the wall, and hopefully original. |
