Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I actually think that extraterrestrial life exists but I don't think that we will "discover" them soon. And I think if that would happen I wouldn't be very happy about it. I mean, actually we don't get along with humans. Humans kill others and even themselves because of religious reasons or greed. I think extraterrestrial lifeforms would do better if they ignore us as long as we didn't solved our own problems here on earth. In my opinion were not ready yet to discover, examine and settle other planets. First we should end all wars and hunger afterwards we can think about contact with extraterrestrial lifeforms. I'm running SETI@home because I want to know IF there's really extraterrestrial life out there. Indeed I think it's a good thing....
