Personal background

Let me try this:

I am, so if I can understand this it means that I'm thinking... Everyone,
outside of my body, is an Alien but we are all a part of same thing:
The Life :-)

I'm the son of my parents, the brother of my sisters and brother...

As I'm writing this, I stand in front of my monitor, in a town called OBERNAI (near STRASBOURG) in France, in
Europe, On Earth, in the the Solar System, in the MilkWay Galaxy, somewhere
in the Universe...

I'm HotLiner for a software and NetWork company in STRASBOURG, the place
is like a "little Silicon Valley". I do in astronomy, data processing,
and every thing about nature.

I still don't know the how and why we're here, but let's make it a good time,
reaching peace (one day :-)

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Yes, I believe that we're not alone
(human being), I think humans discover it when we'll ready to.

The benefit of discovery? Our minds will be opened.

The BIG danger is the fear.

2.What kind of beacon¿ Picture is because we can see it, musique is
because we can hear it... What do we know about other means of communicating
which would be foreign for us?

3.I run SETI@ome, because... "Why not?" It's not a question of probality,
it's about "time for us and time for they"

It was a good idea to use " shared calculation".

My suggestion and question is:

Are we searching for an intentional "signal" sent by another civilisation
or we're waiting for a proof like a shiny candle in the dark?

Sometimes, it's in the "background noise" that one discovers the voice!

If one seeks an "electromagnetic" trace with a radio telescope, I will take
the broadest possible spectrum with a preference for the low frequencies
(very low)
