Profile: Richard Severn Chamberlain

Personal background
I've been interested in the universe we live in from an early age, and I actually took part in SETI years ago when it first started. That was many years and computers ago. Since then my life has changed a lot. I'm an ex psychiatric nurse, who rides trikes and takes photographs. Being disabled I have to adjust my life and approach to it accordingly.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I take part because I'm convinced that, in all the vastness of this universe, we cannot be the only form of intelligent life capable of generating receivable transmissions. Because if we are, then this universe is all the darker and sadder for it.
