Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life almost certainly exitst. Hopefully we will discover it soon. Preferably, I would like to be the Seti@Home user that delivers the work unit that is the first proof of extraterrestrial life.
As far as transmitting a beacon, I don't see it as being a huge importance. As long as the beacon does not contain my email address. All I need is more spam.
I run Seti@home because my CPU spends far too much time lolligaging.
