Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe, given the number of galaxies in the universe, it is impossible for other life not to exist out there somewhere.

I don't think it is necessarry to transmit a beacon. There is so much RF polution on this planet, anyone performing a search like SETI will find us eventually.

I run SETI@Home because I want to help find ETL.
