Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do not believe this planet contains the only life in the universe. Statistics make this unlikely. I will be pleasantly surprised if other life is confirmed in my lifetime.
A beacon is a good idea. We should send out religious programs so they know we have a sense of humor and haven't evolved far enough to be a threat to them.
