Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Do I think that Extraterrestrial life exists? Yes I do, Signs from ancient times depict other life forms also more than one person has said that they have been contacted by other life forms have described the exact same thing that others have without anyform of communication between the 2 people. Space is limitless and as many systems and stars that are out there it is impossible to believe that we are nothing more than a fluke existance. Out of the millions of other galaxies, the same circumstances had to have happened suce as they did here to create life.
2. Yes I feel that humans should transmit beacons for others to find. If there is intellegent life out there maybe they are having just as much trouble finding us as we are them.
3. I run SETI@home because I share the same curiosity that millions of other people have about other life that could be out there and I would like to do my part to help find it. I believe it is a good project and I am behind it 100%. Maybe in the search for extraterrestrial life we will find out more about ourselves in the long run.
