Hi Leut`s, ich bin mittlerweile 49 Jahre alt,verheiratet, 2 Kinder(der Klassiker) und wohnhaft, in der wohl schonsten Stadt Deutschlands, in Hamburg.
Mein Arbeitgeber, bis Juni 2010, war der Flughafen Hamburg. Aufgrund einer chronischen Erkrankung (ALS) mußte ich, nach 25 Jahren, meinen Job gegen Rente eintauschen.
Zu meinen Hobbys zähle ich Astronomie, Sceince Fiction, Grafik und Computer

Wie ich zu Seti@home kam, kann ich gar nicht mehr genau sagen. Das Internet steckte, hier zu Lande, 1999, noch in den Kinderschuhen.
Ich war auf der Suche nach einer sinnvollen Nebenbeschäftigung für meinen Rechenknecht. Dabei bin ich über dann über Seti gestolpert und seitdem fast ununterbrochen drangeblieben. Damals noch als DOS-Client, brauchte mein Rechner ( AMD 586 DX 4 100) noch ca. 24-36 Stunden für eine WU (Seti-Classic).
Das es extraterristisches Leben gibt steht für mich ausser Frage.
Ich möchte einfach dabei gewesen sein, wenn es heißt " Wir haben ein Kontakt"
