| I'm an engineering technician who enjoys learning about all manner of scientific discoveries. I believe that the search for intelligent extraterrestrials is an endeavor with the noblest of intentions and is a crucial necessity for the continued existence of our Human species. Given that asteroid impacts and climatic upheavals have in the past devastated our world, and whereas the magnetic containment of the Sun and its ability to reduce the cosmic ray exposure we receive from a star that is among the brightest in the Milky Way galaxy has been shown to oscillate, and provided that the life span of Helios is estimated to be at least half over, and given that the Earth will be destroyed upon the Helios expansion to red giant, it is imperative that we discover the means (such as Alcubierre space folding, VASIMR, etc.) to a new destination that our successors will call home, as well as that destination. Finding ET will get more people involved in ensuring there are Humans a billion years from now. Finding ET will show everyone that we are not the only ones. It will change the world. I'm here to help change the world. |
