| My name is Gail J Hill. I am 52 years old and live in Utah. I have been interested in SETI for 20 years or more and I am a firm believer in life beyond our own solar system. I always wanted to be a scientist but I was not born with math skills so using SETI@HOME is as close as I will ever come, in this lifetime, to working on finding other life beyond Earth. |

I think this is a phenomenal project and I am proud to be a part of this.
I, like anyone else, hopes to be the one to make the discovery of extraterrestrial life,
When I first put SETI on my computer some 20 years ago, the program was different - there were frequency monitors and you could listen to the sounds. I believe you could even choose which array you listened to and it made it so you really felt like you were a part of helping to find life beyond our solar system. This current set up doesn't seem nearly as exciting to me or perhaps I'm doing something wrong... |
