Of course I think there is other intelligent life in outer space, else I wouldn't run this program, right?! ^^
Now I think that we should transmit a beacon for others to find.
What we do now is comparable to being lost in the woods and just listening instead of shouting for help.
We should show other civilisations that we are at least ready to comunicate and that we are also ready to listen.
What this beacon would look like, I don't know.
It should be little data, and universal, maybe a piece of DNA or just prime numbers (like in "Contact" ^^).
But not as much data as transmited once by the Arecibo.
