| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| I don't have a clue if extraterrestial life exists but it's nice to know I can at least help to check. If extraterrestial life does exist, it would completely change human society forever, I strongly doubt we'd have a situation like Independence Day but who knows what would happen if they come. It's good to know that through seti@home I can contribute to something so much bigger than myself. I feel as if I'm contributing to enrichment of society, everything we learn from this project can be incredibly useful, even if we don't find a signal whatever we stumble across while doing this can help. |
