Profile: Craygor

Personal background
I am a former volunteer Fire Fighter, retired US Navy Combat Search and Rescue Helicopter Aircrewman after 21 years (proud to have been to Afganistan, Iraq and many other places), father of a teenage daughter and a younger son. Worked as an executive, a tractor-trailer driver and am now in the nuclear power industry .

I like to model and paint minatures (mostly Games Workshop) and spend time in the outdoors with my kids (camping/hunting/hiking}. I like to study history and science. I'm a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism and enjoy sitting around a fire with my friends all through the night. I miss being in the service. I detest emotionaly weak people who refuse to make hard decisions and then criticize those people that do. I despise people who won't take responsiblity for themselves and those who claim victimhood for their own problems. That said, I think I met more good decent people then not and believe this world is a good place and is worth fighting for.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do I believe there is life "Out There"? Yes.

Do I believe "they" have ever visited us. No, but it would be nice to be wrong.

I believe the only real way to discover "them" is through SETI, so I hope to do my own small, humble part to help make it happen.
