Profile: Jacob McNamara

Personal background
I am a senior at high school, preparing for my college career where I plan to dual-major in Electrical & Computer Engineering degrees. Until then, I have a lot of math classes to take and a lot of careful planning to do.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@Home because I have a high-end CPU in my computer, so I figured assisting the search for extra-terrestrial life was a good way to donate my unused CPU time. I believe that Extra-Terrestrial life exists. The odds of it occurring in our galaxy are very high, let alone the whole universe, so Fermi's Paradox itself also interests me, and assisting in solving it is another great way of spending spare CPU time.
