Originally from San Diego, now somehow stuck in L.A. until I figure a way back to the 619. I'm a 46 y/o single GWM; wanted to be an astronaut and then an astronomer when I was a kid until I discovered that I'd have to be doing math for the rest of my life. Ended up in Human Resources for 15 years and then gave it all up to become a DJ. Unfortunately my peak years as a DJ have passed and now I spin at the occasional private party or for a few nights at a club for charity but mostly now I make my living selling all my old vinyl. I don't make a fortune but I'm finally happy. :)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I believe that if we ever make contact with intelligent life elsewhere in the universe it will be the catalyst to fundamentally change who we are as a species and possibly (hopefully) make us realize that we're all one people on one planet.
