Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run Seti@Home because of the off chance that the Government would even allow you to release the information to the public IF you found an actual alien signal. I figured it was the least I could do. And I do legitimately support your efforts. I was actually an early adopter many years ago, when you first started.

But I don't think that our NSA and whatever other clandestine groups exist who shall remain nameless would likely allow any of that to get out. So I guess I just really like the screen saver. It is cool.

Plus I thought I might learn how to SEND signals out, instead of just receiving by reading through your message boards. Studying for my Ham Licensing now.

I would suggest that you add sound to your software. That would be cool.

I would also STRONGLY suggest that you sweep your system for bugs, and move your data to a secure location in Singapore or somewhere else where the Gov can't get to it, in the event that something magical happens.

Lastly, send some signals out there. Maybe if we ask nicely, these guys will chat with us instead of just grabbing our cows and less intelligent members of society.
