I'm a former Californian living near Seattle, WA. I'm a MSSQL DBA for a local medical applications ISP/application provider. I like classical music, PBS, and science in general. I went to UCB for three years in the 1980s.
I watch NASA TV every time the Shuttle goes up, and try to find it when it passes overhead. I very much want to get in orbit or walk on the moon before I croak. |

I think ET must exist... the Universe is too large for us to be the only intelligent life therein. I want to use all the machines at my disposal (currently 4: a Sun Utlra1, my compaq laptop, my buddy's Dell desktop, and my Mac performa) to help find Something Out There to convince The World we need to pay more attention to things off our wacky planet.
The dangers of such a discovery is the US Military will end up being the spokespeople for The Planet. This would be a profound mistake. |
