Hi, I'm Ralf-Peter. I'm 40 jears old and living in Bad Homburg (near Frankfurt/Main). I'm interested in sience literature and documatations
(astrophysical, theoretical physic). Sometime I like to read sience-fiction-books and I'm a great fan of "Lord of Rings" and "Babylon 5".
I'm working as a network engineer. In my opinion a heterogeneous network is one of the last big adventures of the world ;-).

I hope we are not alone in our universe, but I also think, today we'll get a lot of problems if we find signals of another intelligent species because a lot of social structures are concentrated of the uniqueness of humans (religions) and a confrontation with the known of other species will confused a lot of people.
Today it is enough to discover if other species exits. In future, when the mankind will be left his "childhood" and don't destroy each other, we'll developed technologies to expand into universe, and I think then we are ready to contact other civilizations.
