Q: Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? If so, when and how will humans discover it? What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery?
A: yes, undoubtedly. not likely to be anytime soon, and most probably we would be seeing the remnents of a long-dead form of life. .
Q: Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? If so, what information should we send?
A: we already have. unless of course you mean one that's on purpose, in which case, yes, we should. perhaps we should apologize for all the crap TV and radio that we've sent out? hmm...
Q: Why do you run SETI@home? What are your views about the project? Any suggestions?
A: keeps the hope alive. i like it, i hope it works. none that will help. ;-) |
