Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
When i look at NGC 300 (find it at www.ast.cam.ac.uk/AAO/images/captions/aat056.html) i can only imagine how alone and small we are in this endless universe. But maybe it is a good reason to search for others like us. It is like when spring comes to my heart and soul, then i'm in love with every girl i know ;] So, our Earth is very lonely and now it is spring for us. And ofcourse there is ET over there, in outter space...
When i'm in love, i allways try to show that. So, there's a good idea to send some signals, like 'hello, we're humans from earth. we come in peace...' :)
I really don't know what kind of info ET expects from us. Maybe we shud send them a recipe how to make pizza :))). Why not?
I allways been confused a little, about the LGM and UFO. After some publications and TV shows i decided, that all this stuff is just a bunch of crab. A cheap candy for hungry children... SETI was known for me for several years before SETI@home launched. Teh project seemed very interesting to me and i decided to participate.
