Profile: Jose M Garcia

Personal background
I'm an aeronautical engineering university student in Spain. My area of engineering is Materials and Aerial Weaponry.

Nowadays, I'm Fleet Manager in a Cargo Airline in Engineering Department.

I became involved in the SETI program because I think it's a One in a Million Idea to share all the computer power around the world. Maybe this could be used in any other program in the future.

Well, I think enouh is enough.

Best Regards.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

I think, according to our own life here in Earth, that discovering a new lifeform will be as beneficial and as dangerous as if we were the discovered lifeform, it depends of a lot of factors.

About sending a beacon, I don't think it will be understandable by any other intelligent life form, because any comunication will be formatted in one way or another by our own perception of universe, and this perception is unique to human life.

I remember one phrase: "Do you think there is any intelligent life in Space? I hope so, because in Earth..."
