Customizing the SETI@home logo

If you like, you can replace the logo used in the SETI@home graphics with your own image file. To do this, move your image file to

C:Program Files\BOINC\projects\setiathome.berkeley.edu

with the file name better_banner.jpg (replacing the existing file with that name).

WARNING: This will be overwritten the next time your computer downloads a work unit, and it may produce error messages at that point.

For example, if you use the new SETI@home logo with black background, the end result will look like this:
