and dont forget moors law. The seti project may very well be approaching saturation, meaning, it wont be able to keep up with the general populace as they get more involved with faster and better computers.

for every two days of downtown there is going to be one day of backlog, and ever approaching epigy of one on one. Meaning one day down one day backlog. At this point, if seti does come back online it would have to run almost none stop for almost a month just to keep up with the workload, before it starts to break even enough to afford scheduled downtime maintenance.

Just to confirm, are the servers down or not, i havent been able to download any new info or upload either, in the past few days. Maybe its just me.
