Even if they are supplied by Natural Gas, there are many places where the pipeline is above ground and is susceptible to wildfire threat. They will turn off the gas and watch the gas pressure at each ground exit location. An increase in pressure at any point above normal atmospheric is an indication of a fire near the exposed pipeline.

They ,ay have large underground supplies of Diesel or a pipeline feed from a depot that is not affected by fire. Only by cost of fuel used will cut that off. Motor Diesel (DF2) costs more because of the extra filtering and additives.

Eric, Personally and Professionally, I believe you and the other Project Leaders are doing an excellent job. On the matter of "Free Speech" in our forums, I believe that all people should act and speak in a meaningful and polite manner. They should be precise and not use any forms of language that would reflect poorly on themselves or their team. We all know that Freedom of Speech does not give anyone the Right to yell "FIRE" in a crowded theater. Free speech has consequences and responsibilities in order to maintain our levels of free speech in each of our societies. Some of the hurtful and/or vulgar language being posted on our forum and others is useless. When I see that someone posts a comment or reply using inappropriate language or grammar, I just go on to the next comment or reply. The effect of using inappropriate language only shows that the individual needs another means of verbal release, like screaming into a pillow. It has the same impact over time. I would not want to be remembered for any forms of foul language. Rather, I would like to be remembered for my successes, good deeds and the "content of my character." Constructive criticism is useful if it identifies the "situation," and gives a reasonable "corrective" suggestion. I do enjoy reading about problems and suggestions. It helps everyone understand what you intended to say and what you see as a fix for the issue. A complaint without a suggestion for fixing the problem is just wasted breath, or in this case - typing. Y'all keep up the good work!!!

My submission: ECFS Filing Receipt - Confirmation number: 2014711415228

I hope this helps!

The proposal to remove Net Neutrality on the internet in favor of a multi-layered system flawed in many ways. It would: 1. create a system that inhibits technical innovation by allowing ISPs to choose which technologies their customers can or should access. 2. create a system that protects current companies while penalizing any start-ups which have been the life blood of the internet. 3. limit access of non-profit organizations that cannot afford "higher-speed or quality lines" fees. 4. penalize media companies that do not directly own cable or satellite access to consumers. 5. enable a system of political "favors" and lobbying with bags of "special interest" funds. The Internet has grown because ISPs have been "common carriers." Our current system only breaks down when ISPs get greedy and are not satisfied with just making millions of dollars in profits each year. Unrestricted greed hurts the low-income families who really need access. When the FCC declares that the ISPs are "Common Carriers" and hold them to that status, our Nation will prosper and grow because the FCC made not only a good choice, they made a choice that is best for all Americans!
